The day began exactly the way a wedding day should — slow, intentional, and wrapped in calm.
Paige and Danny spent their morning getting ready at home, surrounded by close friends, family, and the kind of familiarity that keeps nerves soft and hearts full. Their seven-month-old daughter was right by their side throughout the morning… and yes, she made the cutest flower girl you could imagine.
There was this quiet sweetness to the way Paige held her while she finished getting ready, and the way Danny watched them with that unmistakable dad smile. These are the moments I love capturing — the ones that don’t make the timeline but absolutely make the story.

Portraits, Raindrops & an Unexpected Rainbow
After the ceremony, we stepped out for portraits with their daughter, and of course — West Virginia weather had other plans. The sky opened up with a soft rain, the kind that makes everything feel cinematic, and instead of stress or worry, Paige and Danny just laughed and embraced it.
And then, the moment we will all be talking about forever: a rainbow arched across the sky.
The three of them standing there — mom, dad, and baby girl — with raindrops on their shoulders and a rainbow behind them… it was pure magic. A blessing, a symbol, a perfect reminder of beauty showing up exactly when it wants to.
Why I Love Photographing at 4T Arena
This venue has some of my favorite corners in all of northern West Virginia.
• The field by the weeping willow tree always feels like a scene pulled from a movie — soft, romantic, and glowing no matter the season. It’s wide and open and lets the moment breathe.
• The opening of the horse stalls gives that effortlessly rustic, warm-toned backdrop that photographs beautifully in every light. It’s intimate, simple, and full of character.
Paige and Danny brought so much heart into these spaces. Their connection made the images feel soft, authentic, and full of life — the kind of portraits that remind you that love is both ordinary and extraordinary at the same time.
A Celebration of Family + Forever
The rest of the evening was filled with everything that makes a wedding feel like home — laughter, hugs, dancing, and their daughter asleep in someone’s arms by the end of the night.
